INTRODUCING! Certificate Program Summary

Cruise Shipping Miami and Sustainable Travel International are offering a three-tiered, Green Travel Certificate Program for the new workshop and webinar series. The series is designed to help travel professionals and exhibitors reap the benefits associated with sustainable tourism including:

  • Improved Profitability and Competitive Advantage . Corporate responsibility is a competitive advantage. Companies that actively manage and measure corporate responsibility issues outperform those that don’t.
  • Increased Market Strength and Customer Loyalty . Consumers now make purchasing decisions based on their personal values. And they’re willing to pay premiums on green travel but expect the companies they patron to go above and beyond cursory measures.
  • Attraction of Talent and Enhanced Employee Loyalty . Sustainability is a key value of today’s new workforce. A majority of young professionals are interested in working with companies that have a positive impact on the environment.

This series of workshops and webinars is designed for businesses of all sizes, including newcomers to sustainability, those wanting to improve their existing approach, and businesses that have long-standing sustainability programs.

How it Works

  • Participate in the two webinars or two workshops then receive a “Green Certificate Program, Level 1 Certificate of Completion"
  • Completion includes Certificate, logo to be used in marketing material and recognition at CSM 2011
  • Two new workshops and webinars will be offered each year, building off of Level 1 and providing travel professionals with opportunities to achieve Level 2 and Level 3 Certificates of Completion.
